Spoiler DisclaimerSynopsisThe True Love Wedding Dress is an antholgy of four novellas that tell the story of a magical wedding dress which guarantees the wearer a happy marriage, and which seems to find it's own way from one person to the next. The prologue was penned by Catherine Anderson and tells the origins of the gown: An impoverished servant girl, Aileanna toils night after night creating the perfect wedding dress for her arrogant, ungracious mistress to marry the man Aileanna loves. She was born with magic in her blood though, and knowing that the man of her dreams can never be hers, she unselfishly decides to enchant the gown so that anyone who wears it will have a happy marriage. It has been a long time since Aileanna has practiced her magic though, and it seems her spell may have more than it's intended effect. Synopses and reviews of each individual novella in this anthology can be read via the links below. A Perfect Fit by Barbara Metzger Glad Rags by Connie Brockway Something Special by Casey Claybourne Beautiful Gifts by Catherine Anderson The epilogue of this anthology is also penned by Catherine Anderson and follows the magical wedding gown into the present day to tell the mini-story of Catherine Hamilton, a harried single mother with a gravely ill son. She is drawn to the dress in a shop window and can't seem to resist it's pull even though she has no marriage prospects on the horizon. As she leaves the shop with the gown in her arms, she literally runs into the man of her dreams. ReviewI really like the premise of this quartet of romantic novellas. The book's prologue written by Catherine Anderson was an intriguing beginning to the story, but it left me with many questions about the gown's creator and her one true love. I had hoped that those questions would be answered as the stories progressed, but that was not to be the case. A Perfect Fit by Barbara Metzger - Star Rating: ***1/2; Sensuality Rating: 1.5 Glad Rags by Connie Brockway - Star Rating: **1/2; Sensuality Rating: 3 Something Special by Casey Claybourne - Star Rating: ****1/2; Sensuality Rating: 3 Beautiful Gifts by Catherine Anderson - Star Rating: ****1/2; Sensuality Rating: 2.5 Catherine Anderson wrapped up this quartet of novellas with a very tender epilogue of a modern lady who finds the magical wedding gown and in the process finds what one assumes will become the man of her dreams. It was such a lovely little mini-tale that I found myself wishing that there was more to their story, but it was still a nice ending to this anthology. VisitThemes

Sensuality Rating Key
1 Heart = Smooching
May contain mild to moderate sexual tension and/or possible implications of something more taking place off canvas, but nothing beyond kissing actually occurs within the text. Our take: These books would be appropriate for teen and sensitive readers.
2 Hearts = Sweet
May contain moderate to high sexual tension which could include passionate clinches that end in cut scenes and/or extremely mild love scenes with virtually no details. Our take: These books should still be appropriate for most mature teens and sensitive readers.
3 Hearts = Sensuous
May contain moderately descriptive love scenes, usually no more than three. Our take: Teen and sensitive readers should exercise caution.
4 Hearts = Steamy
May contain a number of explicitly descriptive love scenes. Our take: Not recommended for under 18 or sensitive readers.
5 Hearts = Scorching
May contain a number of explicitly descriptive love scenes that typically include explicit language and acts which some readers may find kinky and/or offensive. Our take: Definite adults only material, not for the faint of heart.
We always endeavor not to give away endings or major plot twists in either our synopses or reviews, however they may occasionally contain information which some readers might consider to be mild spoilers.
